EHS Today ("the app") is a school schedule and Live Activity app for students at Emerald High School. This policy explains what information the app collects, why, and how it's used.
Your class roster is used to display your schedule and to send personalized Live Activity updates to your lock screen ("AP Calculus, Room G-311" instead of generic "Period 4"). Your push token is used only to send those updates. Your friends graph is used only to let you and your friends see each other's schedules.
We do not sell, rent, or share your data with third parties. The only outbound connections the app makes are to Apple's push servers (for Live Activity delivery) and to our Cloudflare Worker backend at emerald-push-backend.srivibhavp.workers.dev (for sync between you and your friends).
Data is stored on your device and in a private Cloudflare D1 database accessible only to the app's backend. We use HTTPS for all network traffic and a shared bearer secret for backend authentication.
Your data is retained as long as your push token is valid. If you uninstall the app, Apple revokes your push token, and our backend deletes your row on the next failed push attempt (typically within 24 hours). You can also email us to request immediate deletion.
EHS Today is intended for high school students, including users under 13. The app does not collect any personally identifying information from any user regardless of age. Class names you type are pseudonymous (e.g. "AP Calculus") and contain no personal data.
You can request deletion of all data associated with your push token by emailing vibhavgamingchannel@gmail.com. We will delete your row within 7 days.
If we change this policy, we'll update the date at the top and notify users in the app's release notes.
